This online store arises out of seventeen years of personal experience in the painting trade. When the roofing contractor I worked for after high school walked off a garage roof leaving my cousin and myself out of work, I placed an ad in the local paper advertising my services as a painter. A painting contractor hired me and I have been painting ever since—for others and on my own—through my college years and continuing today. The trade has allowed me a good living with a flexible schedule and an opportunity to teach others and see real progress in my work.

Over the years I have had to meet many challenges, one of them being the scarcity of specialized painting tools in small towns and rural areas, such as Northfield, Minnesota, where I live and work. In these areas the general store, hardware store, or lumberyard double as the paint store. While they normally offer good quality paints, their brushes and supplies do not meet the needs of the professional painter. So, trips to Minneapolis have always been interrupted by detours to the Big Paint Store, where I could never be sure how much I would have to spend, since I have never received catalogs or even a complete price sheet.

At Painter's Toolbox our goals are to publish a complete interactive catalog with prices; to sell and deliver the highest quality painting tools and supplies directly to painters at their convenience; and to offer each item at a fair price. The painting trade is entering a golden age. Few people are entering the trade, and fewer still are willing or able to work with their hands. The crunch is on, and today's professional painters and painting contractors deserve dedicated service.

How to Shop
• Please register before shopping. This will help us to keep track of your order—even if your session is interrupted.
• We may send you an occasional offer, but we will never share your personal information.
• Browse items by shopping by product type, brand name, or project. Get tips, advice, and shortcuts when you shop by project.
• Please let us know if you cannot find a particular product that you would like to purchase from us. We can special order anything you may need.
• Click "View Cart" to see what you have selected. You can also change quantities, move items to your wishlist or remove items.
• You may also create a shopping list by clicking "Move to Wishlist". Anytime you return to our store you will be able to edit your list or move items from the list into your cart.
• When you are ready to place an order, click the Checkout button. Review your Billing and Shipping information for accuracy. If your Billing and Shipping address do not match, we will have to contact you to confirm the order. So please include a phone number when you register.
• We will also accept Purchase Orders from Public Corporations, Institutions, and Government Agencies. However, you will need to call or e-mail your order to us.
• To pay by check simply print out the final checkout window and send it to our address (listed below).
• We charge $12 for shipping on all orders. You can expect to receive your order in about two weeks. Some products may take longer to ship. We are building our inventory to speed delivery.
• All sales are within the US and do not include any international shipping or custom clearance charges.
• International orders must be handled by a freight forwarder within the US.
• Save 5% when you purchase case quantities.
